The Circle of Courage is an incredible framework for positive youth development created by Dr. Martin Brokenleg and associates and it is based on an integration of Indigenous philosophies and contemporary research. This model incorporates the four universal growth needs of a child; belonging, mastery, independence, and generosity, all of which are developed and implemented through treating children with deep respect.
