In our Language and Literacy class led by Sue Mark, we compiled a writing portfolio made up of writing strategies and forms of writing to take along with us on our future teaching endeavors. Through creating this writing portfolio, I was exposed to creative and engaging writing strategies that I have never heard of before. I am so happy to have done this assignment because this is something functional that I keep forever that will continue to inform my lessons throughout my career. In fact, several of the strategies I learned from creating this lesson I have already used within the lesson plans that I have created for practicum.
